The National Guard Educational Foundation Mission: 

Located in the heart of our nation’s capital, NGEF was established in 1975 with the mission to educate the public and foster awareness about the myriad contributions of the National Guard of the United States.  In short, we tell the Guard’s story, highlighting its roles in the birth and growth of our nation.  NGEF achieves this vital mission through a diverse programmatic portfolio.
