Master Sergeant Michael Hiester was the consummate professional soldier, and a mernber of the 76th Brigade since it was established in 1994. MSG Hiester has worked as a full-time AGR soldier at all levels, from company level to brigade level, and has excelled in every position. MSG Hiester was respected by everyone who worked with him, arid he was an excellent trainer for young soldiers and a mentor and confidante for the officers he worked with. He was also an important part of his community back in Indiana, where he volunteered his time as a fireman and paramedic. MSG Hiester has touched the lives of a large portion of the soldiers in this brigade in the past ten years. The 76th Brigade and its soldiers are better for it.
